Bondata Global Oy is seeking skilled and experienced Metal Workers (Steel Fixers/Rebar Workers) to join construction projects in Finland. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, cutting, bending, shaping, and securing reinforcing steel bars according to construction drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
METAL WORKER (Steel Fixer)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants preferred.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Steel Fixer/Rebar Worker.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
Knowledgeable in installing and tying reinforcing steel bars. - Skilled in cutting, bending, installing, and shaping reinforcement steel.
- Ability to read and interpret reinforcement drawings independently.
- Competent in assembling and securing reinforcement according to construction plans.
- Strong understanding of construction safety and quality standards.
- Must have no criminal record.
Responsibilities:
- Install and tie reinforcing steel bars (rebar) according to construction plans and project requirements.
- Read and interpret reinforcement drawings independently.
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and position reinforcing steel bars accurately.
- Assemble and secure reinforcement structures using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure all reinforcement works comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Check reinforcement placement, spacing, alignment, and support before concrete pouring.
- Perform steel fixing activities efficiently while maintaining workplace safety.
- Coordinate with construction teams and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and proper condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and construction site regulations.
