MATERIAL ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant work experience in warehouse, logistics, material handling, or construction site support.
• Experience in LNG plants, Oil & Gas plants, power plants, gas processing plants, petrochemical plants, or industrial projects is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of material receiving, storage, issuing, and inventory control processes.
• Ability to assist in tracking materials, tools, and equipment on site.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications such as MS Excel and inventory systems.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction site environment.
• Physically fit and able to handle lifting and manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials and equipment.
• Support material issuance and distribution to site teams based on approved requests.
• Help maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking logs.
• Assist in organizing warehouse or storage areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Support stock counting, audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Assist in labeling, tagging, and proper storage of materials.
• Coordinate with material controllers, warehouse staff, and site engineers.
• Help ensure materials are handled safely and according to company procedures.
• Support documentation of material movements and deliveries.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or material control team.
