HVAC TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, ventilation systems, and air distribution.
- Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial or industrial HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with refrigeration principles, electrical controls, and HVAC safety procedures.
- Experience using HVAC diagnostic tools and testing instruments.
- Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying environmental conditions.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning units, chillers, split systems, package units, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, and exhaust systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, condensers, evaporators, filters, belts, valves, and control systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure HVAC equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Check refrigerant levels, detect leaks, and recharge refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Clean and service coils, ducts, filters, drain lines, and ventilation components.
- Read and interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and spare parts usage.
- Follow occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Perform other HVAC-related duties assigned by management.
