MEP TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Technician or in a related building maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building services and facility equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical diagrams.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and building management systems is an advantage.
- Good understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Physically fit and capable of performing maintenance work in various environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, pumps, motors, lighting, and control systems.
- Monitor the performance of building services and respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
- Conduct routine inspections of MEP equipment to identify faults, wear, and potential safety hazards.
- Replace defective components and perform repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, plumbing layouts, and technical manuals.
- Perform testing and commissioning of MEP systems after installation or repair.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment logs.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.
- Perform other maintenance and technical duties assigned by management.
