SRACO International Contracting is seeking an experienced QA/QC Specialist to support Oil & Gas engineering construction projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, equipment, fabrication processes, and construction activities comply with project specifications, engineering requirements, and international quality standards. The role requires extensive knowledge of quality management systems and industry codes, including ASME, API, and ISO standards.

QA QC Specialist

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in QA/QC within Oil & Gas engineering construction, petrochemical, refinery, or industrial projects.
• Strong experience developing and implementing Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Extensive knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, and other international engineering and quality standards.
• Experience conducting field inspections, vendor inspections, welding inspections, and material verification.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, document control, NCR management, and corrective/preventive action processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  Able to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for engineering and construction projects.
• Ensure all construction activities, materials, and equipment comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
• Conduct field inspections, surveillance activities, and vendor inspections to verify quality compliance.
• Review material certificates, inspection reports, welding documentation, and quality records for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, third-party inspectors, and project teams.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure adherence to approved procedures.
• Verify compliance with ASME, API, ISO, and other applicable engineering and quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs), investigate root causes, recommend corrective actions, and monitor implementation.
• Prepare quality reports, inspection documentation, audit findings, and project quality records.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all quality documentation is properly maintained, controlled, and readily available for project records.
• Promote compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Perform other QA/QC duties assigned by project management.
