Mechanical Fitter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Trade Qualification in Maintenance Fitting
• Has background working in Manufacturing and Agricultural Industry (Experience with maintaining machinery for Grain Handling, Grain Cleaning, Pulse Splitting, and Flour Milling)
• Flexible and cooperative team attitude, – Confined space
• Has strong exposure in Conveyor Belt Splicer
• At Least 1 Year in College
• 40 Years Old and below
• Can provide Trade certificates
• Has Exposure to Mining Industry
• Must have a Drivers License

Job Description:

• Experience maintaining machinery for Grain Handling, Grain Cleaning, Pulse Splitting, and Flour Milling
• Examine and measure work for defects to ensure conformance with specifications
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, overhaul and repair of fixed plant and equipment associated with the processes of mining and industry
• Read drawings, work orders and schedule to determine job instructions and specifications
• Installation and maintenance of control fans, pumps, motor drive and gear boxes
• Detect faulty operation of equipment and / or defective materials or products and notify appropriate supervisors.
• Carry out reasonable instructions given by Supervisor
