Al Muftah Trading and Contracting Co. is seeking an experienced and highly organized Head Chef to lead kitchen operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee food preparation and production, manage kitchen staff, maintain food quality and safety standards, and control food costs in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment. Experience in a Cloud Kitchen or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) is highly preferred.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, preferably in a Cloud Kitchen or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR).
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and high-volume kitchen operations.
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, production, quality control, and kitchen operations.
- Strong cost-control and food-cost management skills.
- Ability to manage kitchen inventory, food waste, portion control, and production requirements.
- Ability to lead, train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety under pressure.
- Vocational or Bachelor’s Degree course in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or a related field.
- Reliable, disciplined, hardworking, and capable of taking responsibility for overall kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Plan, organize, and oversee food preparation according to approved recipes, menus, and quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, assign duties, and ensure proper workflow during busy operations.
- Train, guide, and evaluate kitchen personnel to maintain consistent performance and food quality.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented consistently according to company standards.
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, taste, freshness, and presentation.
- Maintain high-volume kitchen operations and ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
- Coordinate closely with front-of-house, dispatch, and delivery teams to support efficient order fulfillment.
- Manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor food storage, temperatures, labeling, stock rotation, and proper handling procedures.
- Conduct regular checks of kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing or management regarding ingredient requirements.
- Control food costs through proper portioning, purchasing, storage, production planning, and waste reduction.
- Monitor food waste and implement measures to minimize unnecessary losses.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and improvements to kitchen processes when required.
- Ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, and facilities are properly maintained and safely operated.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
- Handle operational issues and resolve kitchen-related problems efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Prepare or review kitchen production records, inventory reports, and other required documentation.
- Perform other culinary and kitchen management duties assigned by management.
