Automation Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience working with high-speed automated production lines in the FMCG industry.
  • Must have strong hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, testing, production operations, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to achieve production targets through proper mechanical alignment and synchronization of automated production stations.
  • Must have knowledge of spare parts management, equipment changeovers, maintenance documentation, and production support.
  • Must be capable of coordinating with production teams and providing technical guidance to junior technicians.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on high-speed production lines operating at approximately 200 BPM/BPH, ensuring proper equipment performance and operational reliability.
  • Document maintenance activities, maintain accurate activity logs, and ensure traceability of maintenance work.
  • Plan and manage wear-and-tear components, spare parts, and changeover parts to minimize downtime and prevent production disruptions.
  • Conduct testing, inspections, and hands-on troubleshooting of automated production equipment.
  • Perform mechanical alignment and synchronization of automated stations to improve production efficiency and help achieve production targets.
  • Identify equipment faults, analyze recurring technical problems, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with the Production Department to support smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Guide and mentor junior technicians and help ensure effective team performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving product quality, equipment reliability, and production productivity.
  • Submit timely reports to the Department Head on daily activities, identified risks, equipment issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform other production- and maintenance-related duties as assigned by management.
