Secondary English Teacher

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Teaching, Training, or a related field.
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have the ability to prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging English language instruction.
  • Must be capable of assessing student performance and adapting teaching methods to learners’ needs.
  • Must be able to maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Female applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach English language skills, including reading comprehension, phonics, spelling, vocabulary, and writing, according to the confirmed grade level and curriculum.
  • Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with learning objectives.
  • Develop hands-on and multisensory learning activities to strengthen students’ reading and language skills.
  • Prepare instructional materials, classroom exercises, and assessments to support student learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Encourage positive behavior, active participation, and students’ confidence in using English.
