AIMS Leading Industrial Factory (ALIF) is seeking an experienced Wire Processing & Mesh Production Operator to operate and monitor industrial wire drawing, welding, weaving, stranding, extrusion, and cabling equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine setup, wire processing, mesh production, dimensional calibration, quality inspection, and ensuring safe and efficient production operations.

WIRE PROCESSING & MESH PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Must have completed Grade 12 / Senior High School or equivalent intermediate level.
• Proven experience operating high-speed dry/wet continuous wire drawing lines, including die setup and wire diameter calibration.
• Hands-on experience in automated ladder mesh welding, wire alignment, mesh pitch setting, and shearing.
• Skilled in operating fully automatic wire fencing and chain link mesh weaving machines.
• Experience in copper wire drawing, stranding, extrusion, and cabling processes.
• Knowledge of wire processing, mesh production, machine operation, and industrial manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to perform accurate machine adjustments and maintain required wire and mesh dimensions.
• Strong understanding of production quality control and inspection procedures.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to identify basic machine or production problems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and handling wire materials and equipment for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency in production work.
• Willingness to follow workplace safety procedures, production standards, and supervisor instructions.
• Good teamwork, communication, reliability, and discipline.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor high-speed dry and wet continuous wire drawing lines.
• Set up and adjust drawing dies according to required wire specifications.
• Perform wire diameter calibration and make necessary machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor wire drawing operations to ensure consistent quality, speed, and production output.
• Conduct die setup, replacement, alignment, and routine adjustments as required.
• Operate automated ladder mesh welding machines and ensure proper wire alignment.
• Set and maintain mesh pitch according to production specifications.
• Monitor welding quality and inspect finished ladder mesh for defects or irregularities.
• Operate shearing equipment to cut mesh and wire products to the required dimensions.
• Operate fully automatic wire fencing and chain link mesh weaving machines.
• Monitor wire feeding, tension, alignment, weaving, and mesh formation during production.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent mesh size, shape, and quality.
• Perform copper wire drawing, stranding, extrusion, and cabling processes as assigned.
• Monitor raw materials and ensure wires are properly prepared and fed into production equipment.
• Conduct routine quality checks on wire diameter, mesh dimensions, welding points, and finished products.
• Identify production defects, machine abnormalities, and quality issues and report them promptly.
• Perform basic machine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and preventive maintenance as required.
• Follow production schedules, operating procedures, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout production operations.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating machinery and handling wire products.
• Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other production workers to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Record production quantities, machine conditions, quality results, and other required production information.
• Minimize material waste and ensure efficient use of wire and other production materials.
• Perform other wire processing, mesh production, and manufacturing duties assigned by management.
