MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Diploma or relevant Vocational Certificate in Electrical Technology, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience as a Maintenance Electrician.
• Must have experience working with chilled water systems and their electrical components.
• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with electrical testing instruments and diagnostic equipment.
• Good understanding of occupational health, safety, and electrical regulations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work in commercial or industrial maintenance environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and building services.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, motors, switches, circuit breakers, lighting systems, and control circuits.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in chilled water systems, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Replace defective electrical components and perform system upgrades when required.
• Assist in the maintenance of HVAC electrical controls and chilled water plant equipment.
• Use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with electrical safety regulations, company procedures, and local codes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Perform other electrical maintenance duties assigned by supervisors.
