Hamat Real Estate Company is seeking an experienced and responsible Cleaning and Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee cleaning and housekeeping operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will supervise cleaning personnel, coordinate daily assignments, monitor service quality, and ensure that facilities are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
CLEANING AND HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial services, or facility management is preferred.
- Supervisory or team leader experience in a cleaning or housekeeping environment is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize work schedules and assign tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Physically fit and capable of working in an active facility environment.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of cleaning and housekeeping staff.
- Assign cleaning tasks and work schedules based on operational requirements.
- Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and work performance.
- Inspect rooms, offices, common areas, facilities, and other assigned areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance procedures are followed.
- Train and guide cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques and workplace procedures.
- Monitor the proper use, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and address deficiencies immediately.
- Coordinate with management regarding maintenance issues, cleaning requirements, and service concerns.
- Respond promptly to complaints or requests related to housekeeping and cleaning services.
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, inspections, supplies, and staff activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Promote safe working practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist with inventory control of cleaning materials and housekeeping supplies.
- Coordinate special cleaning activities, deep cleaning, and other facility requirements.
- Provide regular reports on housekeeping performance and operational concerns.
- Perform other cleaning and housekeeping supervisory duties as assigned.
