SIGNAGE MAKER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in signage fabrication, furniture manufacturing, POSM production, booth fabrication, retail fit-out, or a related field.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Strong experience in furniture manufacturing.
  • Strong experience in POSM materials production.
  • Experience in booth stand fabrication and exhibition stand production.
  • Experience in retail store fit-out works and shop preparation.
  • Ability to work with natural wood, MDF, plywood, melamine, Formica, laminate, acrylic, and related production materials.
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings, production drawings, measurements, and production details.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, routers, drills, and other fabrication tools.
  • Strong measurement, cutting, assembly, finishing, and fabrication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on fabrication and installation work.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a production and fabrication team.
  • Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and able to follow technical instructions and workplace safety procedures.
  • Must have a passport valid for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble various signage, display units, furniture components, and retail fixtures.
  • Produce POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials) according to approved designs, measurements, and production specifications.
  • Fabricate booth stands, exhibition stands, display structures, and promotional installations.
  • Perform fabrication and preparation work for retail store fit-outs and shop installations.
  • Work with natural wood, MDF, plywood, melamine, Formica, laminate, acrylic, and other related production materials.
  • Measure, mark, cut, shape, drill, rout, assemble, and finish materials accurately.
  • Read and understand shop drawings, production drawings, layouts, measurements, and fabrication details.
  • Interpret production specifications and translate drawings into accurate finished products.
  • Select appropriate materials, tools, hardware, adhesives, and fabrication methods for each project.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, drilling machines, routers, and other fabrication equipment safely.
  • Assemble signage, furniture, display units, POSM materials, booths, and retail fixtures according to specifications.
  • Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, joints, edges, surfaces, and overall construction quality.
  • Perform sanding, trimming, finishing, and other preparation work to achieve a clean and professional appearance.
  • Inspect completed products for defects, incorrect measurements, damage, or finishing issues.
  • Make necessary adjustments or corrections to ensure finished products meet required standards.
  • Coordinate with designers, supervisors, production staff, installers, and other workshop personnel.
  • Prepare fabricated items for transportation, delivery, and installation at project sites.
  • Assist with on-site installation, fitting, adjustment, and finishing of signage and display structures when required.
  • Maintain proper handling and storage of wood, boards, acrylic, hardware, tools, and other production materials.
  • Minimize material waste through accurate measurement, cutting, planning, and proper material handling.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication workshop and work area.
  • Follow company safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
  • Perform other signage fabrication, furniture manufacturing, POSM production, and fit-out duties assigned by management.
