Rafeek Basheer Medical Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers to provide quality patient care and daily assistance in Qatar. The successful candidates will support patients with their personal care needs, monitor their condition, assist with basic healthcare activities, and work closely with medical professionals. Applicants with a background in midwifery, nursing, or practical nursing are preferred.

CAREGIVER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a hospital or clinic.
• Graduate of Midwifery, Nursing, Practical Nursing, or a related healthcare program is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and responsible.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of patient care and healthcare procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting patients with mobility and daily activities.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and patient safety.
• Able to work effectively with nurses, doctors, patients, and other healthcare personnel.
• Reliable, hardworking, and emotionally mature.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help patients with mobility, walking, transferring, and positioning as needed.
• Monitor patients’ general condition and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional.
• Assist with feeding and ensure patients receive proper meals and adequate hydration.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication-related routines as directed by medical staff.
• Take and record basic vital signs when required and within the scope of assigned duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Assist patients in attending medical appointments and healthcare activities when required.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and reassurance to patients.
• Follow infection prevention, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect patients’ privacy and dignity.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, caregivers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Keep accurate records of care provided and report relevant observations.
• Perform other caregiving and patient-support duties as assigned.
