Job Vacancy: MARINE DIVER

Al-Gharbia Enterprises Trading & Contracting Co. LLC is looking for experienced Marine Divers to support commercial diving operations for marine and offshore projects in Oman. The successful candidate will perform underwater inspections, maintenance, installation, and other diving-related tasks while ensuring compliance with industry safety standards and operational procedures.
MARINE DIVER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial diving experience.
- Valid commercial diving certification from a recognized training institution.
- Proven experience in marine or offshore diving operations.
- Strong knowledge of commercial diving equipment, underwater communication systems, and diving procedures.
- Familiarity with marine safety standards and emergency response protocols.
- Physically fit and medically qualified for commercial diving work.
- Ability to work effectively in demanding marine and offshore environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial diving operations in support of marine construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair projects.
- Conduct underwater inspections of marine structures, pipelines, vessels, and offshore facilities.
- Assist in underwater installation, recovery, and maintenance of equipment and structural components.
- Operate and maintain commercial diving equipment, communication systems, and underwater tools.
- Perform underwater cleaning, salvage, and support activities as required by project specifications.
- Monitor underwater conditions and report hazards, defects, or abnormalities to supervisors.
- Follow approved diving procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response plans at all times.
- Maintain accurate dive logs, inspection reports, and operational records.
- Coordinate with dive supervisors, marine engineers, vessel crews, and project teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and commercial diving regulations.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
