Job Vacancy: MARINE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Al-Gharbia Enterprises Trading & Contracting Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Marine Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale marine infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead site construction activities, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and engineering standards.
MARINE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of site construction experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in the construction of marine structures.
- Extensive experience managing large-scale marine infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership, project management, and construction coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities for marine infrastructure projects from mobilization through project completion.
- Plan, organize, and supervise construction works involving jetties, ports, quay walls, breakwaters, seawalls, revetments, harbors, and other marine structures.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and implement construction methodologies, work schedules, resource allocation plans, and productivity targets.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, and international engineering standards.
- Supervise site engineers, foremen, supervisors, surveyors, and construction personnel to achieve project objectives.
- Review and approve work plans, method statements, inspection requests, and progress reports.
- Monitor project costs, material usage, equipment utilization, and workforce productivity.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards throughout project execution.
- Resolve technical, operational, and construction-related issues while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular site meetings and provide project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
