Job Vacancy: MARINE CONSTRUCTION DIVER

Al-Gharbia Enterprises Trading & Contracting Co. LLC is seeking highly skilled Marine Construction Divers to perform underwater construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair activities for marine infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work in demanding underwater environments while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, project specifications, and industry regulations.
MARINE CONSTRUCTION DIVER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marine construction diving works.
- Certified commercial diver with valid diving qualifications recognized for marine construction projects.
- Proven experience in underwater construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair works.
- Strong knowledge of commercial diving operations, underwater tools, and marine construction techniques.
- Familiarity with underwater safety procedures, emergency response, and industry standards.
- Physically fit and capable of working in challenging underwater and marine environments.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform underwater construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of marine structures and facilities.
- Conduct underwater inspections of bridges, jetties, piers, pipelines, seawalls, offshore structures, and other marine infrastructure.
- Carry out underwater welding, cutting, rigging, and concrete-related tasks when qualified and required.
- Assist in the installation and positioning of marine construction materials, equipment, and structural components.
- Inspect underwater foundations and identify defects, damage, or structural concerns.
- Operate and maintain diving equipment, communication systems, and underwater tools.
- Follow approved diving procedures, risk assessments, and emergency response protocols.
- Record diving activities, inspection findings, and completed work in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with marine engineers, supervisors, vessel crews, and construction teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and diving regulations at all times.
- Perform other duties assigned by the project management team.
