Inventory Control Manager
Qualifications:
- High level of experience in computerized administration and inventory systems and able to assist in the implementation of systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of detailed management controls and procedures for inventories in a retail and distribution environment.
- Willingness to intervene at a detailed transactional level where necessary.
- Audit or Asset Management experience in a high volume consumer products distribution environment highly desirable.
- Mature with leadership qualities.
- Organised and responsible work habits.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Business OR Qualified by Experience
Responsibilities:
- Impose stringent stewardship controls to minimize stock shrinkage and damages including co-ordination of random stock audits.
- Ensure compliance with policy and procedures for inventories and logistics.
- To organize and co-ordinate regular physical stock counts and to investigate resulting variances.
- To train inventory control teams with an emphasis on improving their skills and efficient conduct of their duties.
