I believe my education and previous work experience in the Baking Industry aligns well with the qualifications that are required for this position. I have recently finished a training and trade course and I'm hoping to enter the Baker/Pastry Cook position. I have a solid 4 years work experience as a Baker/Pastry Cook in Baking Industry. I possess a good understanding and excellent knowledge of baking different varieties of breads, cakes and pastries. I also have the basic knowledge in the fundamentals of kitchen operations. I take this opportunity to highlight some of tasks and responsibilities that I can do as a Baker/Pastry Cook: • Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and cost, and monitor and order supplies. • Requisition of order materials, equipment and supplies. • Order supplies and equipment. • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. • Clean kitchen and work areas. • Manage kitchen operations.
