LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Must be a Bachelor’s/College Degree holder in Architecture, Urban Studies, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, commercial, residential, or large-scale development projects is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, hardscape, softscape, planting, irrigation, and outdoor amenities.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other relevant design software.
- Knowledge of BIM/Revit and 3D visualization software is an advantage.
- Experience in preparing detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of landscape materials, plants, construction methods, and site development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop landscape concepts, master plans, detailed designs, and construction drawings.
- Prepare landscape layouts, planting plans, hardscape designs, irrigation concepts, and outdoor amenity plans.
- Develop detailed specifications, material selections, planting schedules, and quantity estimates.
- Coordinate landscape designs with architectural, structural, MEP, and civil engineering requirements.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, technical submittals, and method statements.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor landscape construction to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project management teams.
- Identify design and construction issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Monitor the quality and progress of landscape works and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, presentations, and progress updates.
