LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience is required.
  • Must be a Bachelor’s/College Degree holder in Architecture, Urban Studies, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, commercial, residential, or large-scale development projects is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, hardscape, softscape, planting, irrigation, and outdoor amenities.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other relevant design software.
  • Knowledge of BIM/Revit and 3D visualization software is an advantage.
  • Experience in preparing detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of landscape materials, plants, construction methods, and site development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop landscape concepts, master plans, detailed designs, and construction drawings.
  • Prepare landscape layouts, planting plans, hardscape designs, irrigation concepts, and outdoor amenity plans.
  • Develop detailed specifications, material selections, planting schedules, and quantity estimates.
  • Coordinate landscape designs with architectural, structural, MEP, and civil engineering requirements.
  • Review shop drawings, material samples, technical submittals, and method statements.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor landscape construction to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project management teams.
  • Identify design and construction issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor the quality and progress of landscape works and ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, presentations, and progress updates.
