SENIOR ARCHITECT (IN-HOUSE)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Must be a Bachelor’s/College Degree holder in Architecture, Urban Studies, or a related field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• At least 5 years of experience in hotel, resort, luxury hospitality, or high-end residential construction projects.
• Proven experience handling large-scale hotel, resort, villa, or mixed-use developments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, fire safety regulations, accessibility standards, and construction requirements.
• Strong experience in multidisciplinary coordination with structural, MEPF, interior, landscape, and other consultants.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee architectural design development for hotel and resort construction projects.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, civil, MEPF, interior design, landscape, and other consultants.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and design standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify architectural defects, discrepancies, and construction issues.
• Review and respond to RFIs, technical queries, variation proposals, and design changes.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve design and construction issues efficiently.
• Participate in design review meetings, construction meetings, progress meetings, and client presentations.
• Monitor architectural quality, project progress, and adherence to the approved design intent.
• Assist in project planning, value engineering, material selection, and design optimization.
• Ensure architectural works comply with project requirements, applicable codes, and approved standards.
