Faroe Origin is seeking hardworking, reliable, and physically fit Factory Workers to assist with daily production and processing operations. The successful applicants will help handle raw materials, process and package products, maintain cleanliness in the production area, and follow established quality control and workplace safety procedures. Candidates must be prepared to work in a cold and wet environment and perform repetitive tasks as part of a production team.

FACTORY WORKER

Qualifications:

• At least a high school graduate.
• Previous experience in fish processing, food production, factory work, or a related field is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive production tasks.
• Willing to work in a cold and wet environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
• Able to follow instructions and comply with workplace safety procedures.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and attentive to detail.
• Willing to follow food hygiene, sanitation, and quality control standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily factory production and processing activities according to company procedures.
• Handle, sort, clean, prepare, and process raw materials and products as assigned.
• Perform product packing, labeling, weighing, and sorting tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Operate basic production equipment and machinery when trained and authorized.
• Inspect products for visible defects and report quality concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in workstations, equipment, tools, and production areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.
• Wear the required protective clothing and equipment, particularly when working in cold or wet conditions.
• Handle materials and products carefully to prevent contamination, damage, or waste.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting or moving items as required.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Follow instructions, work schedules, and company policies, including overtime requirements when necessary.
