Quality Group Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Glass & Aluminum General Manager to oversee the company’s daily operations and lead the successful delivery of residential and commercial glass and aluminum projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in glass and aluminum fabrication, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record in project management, team supervision, and operational excellence.

GLASS & ALUMINUM GENERAL MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in glass and aluminum fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a similar industry, with management experience.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Metal Fabrication, Tool & Die, Welding) or a related field.
• A relevant technical or trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Glazing or an equivalent certification, is an advantage.
• Proven experience in glass and aluminum fabrication and installation for residential and commercial projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, window schedules, architectural plans, and shop drawings.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant safety standards, quality control procedures, and building regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
• Proficient in project planning, logistics coordination, and operational management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of glass and aluminum projects from planning and scheduling through completion.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of glazers, fabricators, and installation personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality project execution.
• Manage the fabrication and assembly of glass and aluminum products for residential and commercial applications.
• Read, interpret, and review technical drawings, window schedules, architectural plans, and shop drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, workplace safety regulations, and applicable building codes.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and efficient utilization of workshop equipment and production resources.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Coordinate project logistics, material procurement, scheduling, and workflow to optimize operational efficiency.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines while implementing solutions to improve productivity and profitability.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures that support continuous improvement.
• Provide strong leadership and effective people management to promote a positive, productive, and high-performing work environment.
