PPF INSTALLER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of working experience is required.
• Previous experience as a PPF Installer, PPF Technician, Automotive Detailer, Car Film Installer, or similar position is an advantage.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Knowledge of Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation, cutting, fitting, and finishing.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, align, and apply PPF to various vehicle surfaces.
• Familiarity with PPF installation tools, including squeegees, heat guns, cutting tools, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of proper vehicle surface preparation, including cleaning, polishing, and contaminant removal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve a precise, smooth, and bubble-free finish.
• Good hand skills and manual dexterity for handling and applying flexible film materials.
• Ability to identify and correct bubbles, wrinkles, creases, lifting edges, misalignment, and other installation imperfections.
• Ability to work carefully and efficiently while maintaining consistent quality standards.
• Good knowledge of proper tool handling, material care, workplace safety, and cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and willing to follow company procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Willing to work in Kuwait and adapt to a professional automotive detailing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure, cut, and apply Paint Protection Film (PPF) to various parts of vehicles.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces before PPF installation through proper cleaning, polishing, and, when necessary, clay bar treatment.
• Inspect vehicle surfaces for dirt, dust, contaminants, scratches, or imperfections before application.
• Use specialized PPF installation tools such as squeegees, heat guns, cutting tools, and other appropriate equipment.
• Apply PPF smoothly and efficiently while minimizing bubbles, wrinkles, creases, and other visible imperfections.
• Ensure proper alignment, positioning, coverage, and adhesion of the film on vehicle surfaces.
• Carefully trim and shape PPF around vehicle edges, curves, corners, handles, lights, and other components.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to achieve a clean and professional finish without visible seams or imperfections.
• Follow proper PPF installation procedures and techniques according to company standards.
• Inspect completed installations for quality, alignment, adhesion, appearance, and overall workmanship.
• Identify and correct minor installation issues when necessary and report major concerns to the supervisor.
• Handle PPF materials carefully to prevent damage, contamination, and unnecessary material waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the installation area, workstations, tools, and equipment.
• Clean, maintain, and properly store PPF installation tools after use.
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling practices for tools, materials, chemicals, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress, technical issues, and installation challenges.
• Complete assigned PPF installation jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Provide customers with basic after-service care and maintenance instructions when required.
• Assist with other automotive detailing or workshop-related tasks when assigned.
• Perform other duties related to PPF installation and vehicle detailing as directed by management.
