TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in technical support, maintenance, general contracting, or a similar position.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering (Others) or a similar field.
- College graduates or technical/vocational graduates in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, IT, or related fields are preferred.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Basic knowledge of technical equipment, tools, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to assist with equipment installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair.
- Good technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and workplace procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe and quality work.
- Ability to work effectively with technicians, engineers, contractors, and other personnel.
- Physically capable of performing hands-on technical support and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for company operations, equipment, tools, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving equipment, tools, machinery, and company facilities.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of equipment as required.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment defects, operational problems, or potential maintenance requirements.
- Assist technicians and maintenance personnel in diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
- Check equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
- Perform basic technical tests and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Follow technical manuals, work instructions, specifications, and established maintenance procedures.
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
- Report equipment defects, technical problems, and required repairs to supervisors or responsible technical personnel.
- Help identify the causes of recurring equipment or operational problems.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, technical issues, and service requests.
- Coordinate with other departments, technicians, contractors, and suppliers regarding technical requirements.
- Assist in arranging technical services, repairs, replacement parts, and equipment when necessary.
- Ensure tools and technical equipment are properly handled, maintained, and stored.
- Follow workplace safety procedures when performing installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support general contracting and technical operations as assigned by supervisors or management.
- Perform other technical support and maintenance-related duties as required.
