Service Crew
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in restaurant service, food and beverage, hospitality, customer service, or a similar position.
- Previous service crew or restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Strong customer-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, courteous, and professional personality.
- Strong team player who can work effectively with kitchen, service, and management staff.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good attention to detail when taking, preparing, and serving customer orders.
- Knowledge of basic food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong leadership skills and willingness to assist or guide other team members when required.
- Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and responsible.
- Physically fit and able to stand and move for extended periods during restaurant operations.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, courteous, and professional service.
- Assist customers with menu selections, orders, questions, and requests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the appropriate kitchen or service staff.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards.
- Deliver customer orders promptly and ensure that orders are complete and accurate.
- Check with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service.
- Respond professionally to customer concerns and complaints and seek appropriate solutions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly arranged dining and service areas.
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, service areas, equipment, and other assigned areas.
- Set up tables, service stations, and dining areas before and during operating hours.
- Clear used plates, glasses, utensils, and other items and properly reset tables.
- Assist kitchen and other restaurant staff during busy service periods.
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure food and beverages are handled and served safely and according to company standards.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and service supplies when required.
- Monitor supplies and report shortages or operational concerns to the supervisor.
- Process customer payments or assist with billing procedures when assigned.
- Follow restaurant policies, procedures, service standards, and management instructions.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and courteous behavior at all times.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
- Assist in guiding or supporting new team members when required.
- Perform other restaurant and service-related duties assigned by management.
