Tango Limited is seeking an experienced Baker (Retail Manager) to oversee bakery and retail operations while ensuring efficient production, quality products, excellent customer service, and smooth day-to-day store activities.
The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, strong organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced bakery and retail environment.
BAKER (RETAIL MANAGER)
Qualifications:
- Male candidate.
- Below 40 years old.
- 3–5 years of experience in retail operations.
- Previous experience in bakery, food retail, supermarket, or related operations is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of retail store operations and customer service.
- Good leadership and staff supervision skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and monitor product availability.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail and bakery environment.
- Strong attention to product quality and presentation.
- Customer-focused, dependable, and responsible.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bakery and retail store operations.
- Coordinate bakery production and retail activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor the availability, quality, freshness, and presentation of bakery products.
- Ensure products are prepared, displayed, and sold according to company standards.
- Supervise and coordinate bakery and retail staff.
- Assign daily duties and monitor staff performance.
- Assist in training and developing employees on bakery operations, customer service, and company procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, packaging materials, and retail products.
- Coordinate stock replenishment and minimize product shortages and wastage.
- Monitor product expiration dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bakery and retail areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Monitor sales, customer service, and daily retail performance.
- Assist in handling customer concerns and resolving complaints professionally.
- Monitor cash handling and retail transactions when required.
- Prepare or review daily operational and sales reports.
- Coordinate with management regarding staffing, inventory, production, and operational requirements.
- Help ensure bakery products meet established quality, taste, appearance, and presentation standards.
- Support efforts to improve sales, customer satisfaction, productivity, and operational efficiency.
