Al-Gharbia Enterprises Trading & Contracting Co. LLC is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer (Civil 3D & AutoCAD) to support the planning, design, drafting, and execution of civil and marine infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project teams in preparing engineering drawings, technical documentation, quantity calculations, and project layouts while developing expertise in large-scale marine construction projects.
FRESH CIVIL ENGINEER (CIVIL 3D & AUTOCAD)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Eager to learn and develop expertise in marine infrastructure projects.
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise civil engineering drawings, layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and grading plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil and marine infrastructure projects.
- Develop site layouts, alignments, earthwork models, and utility plans based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, draftsmen, and site engineers to ensure engineering drawings are accurate and up to date.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and survey data to support construction activities.
- Assist in preparing quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material estimates, and engineering reports.
- Support site engineers by verifying construction layouts and ensuring work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
- Update as-built drawings and maintain engineering documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in site inspections and provide technical support during construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, engineering codes, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.
- Maintain organized project files and drawing revisions through proper document control procedures.
- Perform other engineering and technical duties assigned by senior management.
