LARGAN Precision Co., Ltd. is seeking skilled Factory Workers (Lathe Machinists) to operate and program manual and CNC lathes for precision manufacturing operations in Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for machining high-precision components, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring products meet strict quality standards.
FACTORY WORKER (LATHE MACHINIST )
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience as a Lathe Machinist or CNC Machinist.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field or a related discipline.
- Must be able to operate and program manual and CNC lathe machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD files, and machining specifications.
- Experience performing turning, boring, facing, threading, knurling, and other lathe machining operations.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures.
- Good English communication skills.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willing to work in Taiwan and comply with company safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and secure raw materials, workpieces, and tooling on manual or CNC lathe machines.
- Operate and program manual and CNC lathes according to production requirements and machining specifications.
- Adjust machine controls, cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling to achieve optimal machining performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, CAD files, and technical specifications, including geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Perform precision machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, threading, knurling, drilling, and finishing.
- Measure and inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges to ensure quality compliance.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Perform other machining and production-related duties as assigned.
