Al-Gharbia Enterprises Trading & Contracting Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, service, maintain, and repair heavy diesel-powered construction equipment used in civil, infrastructure, and marine projects. The successful candidate will ensure all heavy machinery operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

DIESEL MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Experience working with heavy construction machinery is required.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Experience servicing equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, cranes, dump trucks, rollers, and similar machinery is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair heavy diesel-powered construction equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and company maintenance schedules.
• Inspect and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking systems, and drivetrain components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components including pumps, injectors, filters, hoses, bearings, seals, belts, cylinders, and hydraulic parts.
• Conduct engine overhauls, component rebuilding, and equipment performance testing after repairs.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and ensure machinery is safe and ready for operation.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, hydraulic diagrams, and technical service documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair reports, and service schedules.
• Coordinate with equipment operators and supervisors regarding equipment condition and repair requirements.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Comply with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
