Al-Gharbia Enterprises Trading & Contracting Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems used in heavy construction and marine equipment. The successful candidate will ensure hydraulic machinery operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime to support project operations.

HYDRAULIC MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Experience working with heavy construction machinery is required.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, hydraulic diagnostics, and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Experience maintaining excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, graders, dump trucks, and other hydraulic-powered machinery is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems on heavy construction and earthmoving equipment.
• Inspect hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, fittings, filters, and hydraulic lines for wear or damage.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing on hydraulic components and systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic failures using pressure gauges, diagnostic tools, and manufacturer service procedures.
• Repair or replace defective hydraulic components and ensure proper system operation after repairs.
• Test hydraulic systems for pressure, flow, leaks, and overall performance.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Assist in mechanical repairs involving heavy equipment when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and repair documentation.
• Ensure workshop tools and hydraulic testing equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with equipment operators and supervisors to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability.
