Emdad Human Resources Company is seeking an experienced Conventional Machinist to set up and operate NC and conventional machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. The successful candidate will perform machining, dimensional inspection, equipment maintenance, and quality control while complying with Ministry of Defense quality, safety, and security procedures.

Conventional Machinist

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Conventional Machinist in a manufacturing, machining, or heavy industrial environment.
• Skilled in setting up and operating NC and conventional machines.
• Experience operating lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, dimensional tolerances, and quality control standards.
• Technical or vocational Diploma/Certificate in Machining, Mechanical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Willing to comply with Ministry of Defense quality, safety, and security procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate NC and conventional machining equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Operate conventional lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and machining instructions.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, machine settings, speeds, feeds, and machining methods.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and other machining operations as required.
• Measure and inspect finished components to ensure they meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Identify machining defects, dimensional deviations, and equipment-related problems.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep machining equipment in proper working condition.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure proper handling of tools and materials.
• Follow established machining, quality control, safety, and security procedures.
• Ensure manufactured components comply with applicable quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with quality inspectors, engineers, supervisors, and other production personnel.
• Comply with Ministry of Defense quality, safety, and security requirements.
• Perform other machining duties assigned by supervisors.
