Megumi Sangyou Co. Ltd. is seeking skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanics under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Program for deployment to Japan. The successful candidate will perform vehicle maintenance and repair services while gaining long-term international career opportunities in Japan.

AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC (SSW)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants aged 24 to 34 years old.
• For completed TITP II or TITP III candidates:
• Must possess a Level 3 Certificate or Evaluation Certificate.
• For Skill Test Passers:
  • Must be a Prometric Skilled Test Passer.
  • Must possess JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic certification.
• Experience in automotive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in vehicle engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and general automotive servicing.
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Physically fit, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Willing to adapt to Japanese workplace culture, discipline, and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of automotive vehicles according to company standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using proper tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct routine servicing such as oil changes, brake inspection, tire replacement, and engine maintenance.
• Repair and replace defective automotive parts and components.
• Ensure all repair work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with supervisors and workshop teams to complete repair and maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Prepare basic service reports and communicate repair findings when required.
• Comply with Japanese workplace discipline, operational procedures, and company regulations.
