DOMESTIC HELPER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as a Domestic Helper, Childcare Provider, Caregiver, Nanny, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Must be at least 24 years old.
• Must possess a valid TESDA Caregiving (Newborn to Pre-schooler) NC II or Trade Test Certificate.
• Demonstrated experience caring for infants and young children.
• Patient, caring, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about working with children.
• Strong English communication skills to interact effectively with employers, children, and team members.
• Knowledge of child development, child safety, nutrition, and basic first aid is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform childcare and light household tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and responsible care for infants, toddlers, and young children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Supervise children’s daily routines, including school schedules, playdates, appointments, meals, naps, and recreational activities.
• Plan and engage children in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities that support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while ensuring proper food handling and hygiene practices.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of children’s dining utensils, feeding equipment, toys, clothing, and living areas.
• Assist children with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene as needed.
• Monitor children’s health and well-being and promptly report any concerns to employers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly household environment.
• Follow employers’ instructions regarding childcare routines and household policies.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with employers and family members in English.
• Observe confidentiality, professionalism, and respect for the family’s privacy at all times.
• Perform light household duties related to childcare as assigned.
