Elevator Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in elevator installation, including testing and commissioning (T&C).
- Proven ability to deliver elevator installation projects in compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Strong knowledge of elevator mechanical and electrical systems, wiring, alignment, and installation procedures.
- Competent in conducting functional testing, system adjustments, and commissioning documentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation and testing issues to meet project handover timelines.
- Graduate of ITI, NUT, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install elevator systems and components in accordance with engineering drawings, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements.
- Perform testing and commissioning (T&C) of newly installed elevators to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Conduct functional tests, system adjustments, and complete commissioning checklists and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and installation issues to achieve project completion and handover schedules.
- Install, align, wire, and calibrate elevator mechanical and electrical systems.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project teams during installation and commissioning activities.
- Maintain accurate records of installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Follow company policies, workplace safety procedures, and applicable codes and standards at all times.
