Adecco Personnel Ltd is seeking experienced All-Round Carpenters to work on residential, commercial, and infrastructure construction projects across New Zealand. The successful candidates will perform a wide range of carpentry work, from structural construction to interior finishing, while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality.

All-Round Carpenter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as an All-Round Carpenter.
• Proven experience in foundation and structural work, framing, exterior carpentry, and interior finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in the safe use of carpentry hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and carpentry techniques.
• Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding construction environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform foundation, structural, framing, exterior, and interior carpentry works according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, technical plans, and building specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install timber, plywood, steel framing, and other construction materials.
• Construct and install floor systems, wall framing, roof framing, ceilings, partitions, doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry, and finishing components.
• Install exterior cladding, decking, fascia boards, trims, and other structural and finishing elements.
• Carry out renovation, repair, maintenance, and remodeling works as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with building codes, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Operate and maintain carpentry hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other construction trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while complying with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Report material shortages, defects, or site issues to supervisors.
• Perform other carpentry-related duties assigned by management.
