WAITRESS

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Waitress, Server, or Food and Beverage Service Staff.
• Knowledge of POS systems, order taking, table service, billing, and payment processing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Professional, attentive, courteous, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, present menus, and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Provide recommendations based on guests’ preferences and menu offerings.
• Take accurate customer orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Communicate orders clearly and promptly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring proper presentation and accuracy.
• Refill drinks and attend to guests’ additional requests throughout their dining experience.
• Prepare guest bills and process cash and card payments accurately, including handling change.
• Clear used dishes, utensils, and glassware and clean and reset tables for new customers.
• Check regularly on guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address concerns or complaints.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas.
• Follow company standards for customer service, food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
