Raha For Industry is seeking qualified and experienced Reverse Osmosis Technicians to operate and monitor water treatment systems in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for the operation of reverse osmosis (RO) and related water treatment equipment, process control, chemical dosing, equipment monitoring, and water quality testing. The role requires strong knowledge of water treatment processes and the ability to maintain safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant plant operations.
Reverse Osmosis Technician
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience is required.
- At least a High School Graduate.
- Strong experience in the operation and monitoring of reverse osmosis and water treatment systems.
- Knowledge of water treatment process control.
- Experience in operating pumps, filtration systems, RO equipment, chemical dosing systems, and related water treatment machinery.
- Knowledge of RO system operating parameters, including pressure, flow, conductivity, and water quality monitoring.
- Experience in chemical dosing and safe handling of water treatment chemicals.
- Experience conducting water quality testing and interpreting routine test results.
- Ability to identify abnormal RO system conditions and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of RO membrane operation, cleaning, flushing, and routine maintenance is an advantage.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance, water quality requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate operational, testing, and maintenance records.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a water treatment plant environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe and efficient plant operations.
- Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively with operations and maintenance teams.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, or extended hours according to plant operating requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor reverse osmosis (RO) systems and water treatment machinery according to established operating procedures.
- Ensure efficient and continuous operation of RO and related water treatment equipment.
- Monitor pumps, valves, pressure vessels, membranes, filters, tanks, dosing systems, and other RO plant components.
- Monitor and control operating parameters such as pressure, flow, conductivity, and other applicable process readings.
- Apply knowledge of process control to maintain stable and efficient water treatment operations.
- Perform chemical dosing according to established treatment procedures and operational requirements.
- Safely handle, prepare, and use water treatment chemicals.
- Conduct routine water quality testing and monitor treated water quality.
- Check and record water quality parameters and RO system performance.
- Monitor membrane and filtration performance and identify abnormal operating conditions.
- Perform routine inspections of RO equipment and associated water treatment systems.
- Identify equipment malfunctions, leaks, abnormal pressure, poor water quality, and other operational problems.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions for RO and water treatment equipment.
- Assist maintenance personnel with preventive maintenance, cleaning, servicing, membrane maintenance, and repairs.
- Follow proper procedures for RO membrane cleaning, flushing, and system shutdown/start-up when required.
- Maintain accurate records of plant readings, water quality results, chemical consumption, equipment status, and maintenance activities.
- Report equipment failures, process abnormalities, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements to supervisors.
- Ensure proper chemical storage, labeling, handling, and disposal procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the RO plant, equipment, and surrounding work areas.
- Follow environmental, health, safety, and sanitation requirements at all times.
- Monitor plant operations to help ensure compliance with applicable environmental and water quality requirements.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), particularly when handling treatment chemicals.
- Assist in maintaining documentation required for plant operations, inspections, and environmental compliance.
- Follow emergency response procedures and established plant safety protocols.
- Perform other reverse osmosis, water treatment, and plant operation duties assigned by management.
