PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in machine operation or manufacturing.
• Experience operating injection blow molding, filling, labelling, packaging, or palletizing equipment is preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing, beverage, packaging, or production environment is an advantage.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, production instructions, and quality requirements.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation, adjustment, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting.
• Ability to identify product defects and quality issues.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices is an advantage.
• Ability to maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a production environment, including standing for long periods.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work effectively as part of a production team.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, and according to production schedules when required.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, start, operate, and monitor production machines according to approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Operate production equipment including injection blow molding machines, filling machines, labelling machines, packaging equipment, and palletizers.
• Prepare machines and production lines before start-up to ensure proper operation.
• Adjust machine settings, parameters, and controls to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and ensure continuous production flow.
• Inspect finished products regularly to identify defects, abnormalities, or quality issues.
• Check product weights, measurements, labels, packaging, and other quality specifications.
• Remove defective or non-conforming products from the production line.
• Record production output, downtime, machine stoppages, material usage, and scrap quantities.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records.
• Perform routine inspections and basic machine servicing as required.
• Conduct machine cleaning and sanitation activities, including deep cleaning procedures in hygiene-sensitive areas.
• Ensure production equipment is cleaned properly to prevent contamination and maintain food safety standards.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety requirements at all times.
• Report machine malfunctions, unusual conditions, defects, and safety concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Assist maintenance personnel during repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Handle raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products properly.
• Support production changeovers and line adjustments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the production and work area.
• Follow workplace health, safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in continuous improvement activities aimed at improving quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Perform other machine operation and production duties assigned by management.
