Food Production Worker
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Food Production Worker, Commissary Worker, Kitchen Production Staff, or in a similar role.
- Knowledgeable in food preparation, food production processes, and food handling procedures.
- Experience working in a commissary, food manufacturing plant, commercial kitchen, bakery, or food processing facility is an advantage.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and quality control standards.
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive production tasks while standing for extended periods.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced food production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and consistency.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends when required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process, and package food products according to company recipes, production schedules, and quality standards.
- Assist in the daily operations of the commissary, including food preparation, portioning, mixing, cooking, packaging, and labeling.
- Operate food production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, handling, storage, and production.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, utensils, and production areas.
- Observe food safety regulations, personal hygiene practices, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.
- Monitor product quality and report any production issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Assist in inventory control by handling raw materials and maintaining proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining product consistency.
- Support other commissary and production activities as assigned by supervisors.
