Compressor Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience as a Compressor Operator or in a similar industrial or construction equipment role is preferred.
• At least a High School Graduate, Vocational Graduate, or Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field.
• Experience operating and maintaining industrial air compressors and compressed air systems.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read operating manuals, pressure gauges, and maintenance documentation.
• Physically fit and capable of working in construction and industrial environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and extended hours when required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate air compressors and compressed air systems safely and efficiently to support construction and industrial activities.
• Start, monitor, adjust, and shut down compressor equipment according to operational procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct daily inspections of compressors, air receivers, hoses, valves, gauges, filters, and related equipment before operation.
• Monitor pressure levels, temperature, oil levels, and overall equipment performance to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, filter replacement, and minor repairs.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and report mechanical or operational issues to the maintenance team or supervisors.
• Maintain accurate operating logs, maintenance records, and equipment inspection reports.
• Ensure compressors are operated within safe pressure limits and comply with company safety standards.
• Assist maintenance personnel during major repairs and scheduled servicing of compressor systems.
• Keep compressor stations, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
• Coordinate with construction and maintenance teams to ensure continuous compressed air supply for project operations.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Perform other equipment operation and maintenance duties assigned by supervisors.
