Grapecare Limited is seeking qualified and experienced Trailer Assembly Technicians to work in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling trailer chassis, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, braking systems, electrical components, and vehicle body parts according to technical drawings and production specifications. The role requires strong mechanical assembly skills, proper use of hand tools, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and workplace safety.
TRAILER ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Male, 25–45 years old.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in trailer assembly, automotive assembly, mechanical assembly, or a similar position.
- Experience assembling trailer chassis, hydraulic systems, pneumatic braking systems, electrical systems, and vehicle body components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, and specifications.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, wrenches, sockets, torque tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Good understanding of mechanical assembly, fitting, alignment, fastening, and component installation.
- Ability to perform basic inspection, troubleshooting, adjustment, and functional testing of assembled systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- MAG Welding certification is an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on mechanical and assembly work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Good teamwork, communication, discipline, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble trailers and semi-trailers according to technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and production instructions.
- Assemble and install trailer chassis, frames, structural components, and body parts.
- Install and connect hydraulic systems, including hydraulic lines, fittings, cylinders, valves, and related components.
- Install and assemble pneumatic braking systems and associated components.
- Install and connect trailer electrical systems, wiring, lights, connectors, switches, and other electrical components.
- Assemble and install vehicle body components, panels, doors, guards, supports, and other trailer parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, and specifications.
- Measure, align, position, and secure components to ensure accurate assembly.
- Use hand tools and assembly equipment such as drills, wrenches, sockets, torque tools, grinders, and power tools.
- Drill, fasten, bolt, tighten, adjust, and secure components according to specified requirements.
- Perform basic fitting and mechanical adjustments to ensure proper component alignment and operation.
- Inspect assembled components and systems to identify incorrect installation, damage, misalignment, or other defects.
- Conduct functional checks of hydraulic, pneumatic, braking, electrical, and mechanical systems after installation.
- Perform adjustments, corrections, and rework when components or systems do not meet specifications.
- Assist with frame preparation, fitting, and assembly before installation of other trailer components.
- Follow required torque specifications and installation procedures for mechanical components and fasteners.
- Handle tools, components, equipment, and materials safely and properly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe assembly workstation.
- Perform routine checks of hand tools and assembly equipment and report damaged or defective equipment.
- Coordinate with welders, fabricators, electricians, mechanics, supervisors, and other production personnel.
- Follow production schedules and complete assigned trailer assembly work within required timelines.
- Follow company quality standards, workplace safety procedures, and production requirements.
- Perform other trailer assembly, mechanical installation, and workshop duties assigned by management.
