Grapecare Limited is seeking qualified and experienced Robotic Welding Operators / Programmers to work in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will operate, program, monitor, and optimize robotic welding systems to produce accurate and high-quality welded components. The role requires experience with robotic welding equipment and controllers, the ability to modify welding programs, and the capability to perform manual welding when required.
ROBOTIC WELDING OPERATOR / PROGRAMMER
Qualifications:
- Male, 25–45 years old.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Robotic Welding Operator or in a similar role.
- Experience operating and programming Panasonic, VALK Welding, G3 Controller, or similar robotic welding systems.
- Ability to create, modify, test, and optimize welding programs.
- Knowledge of robotic welding operation, programming, setup, fixtures, and welding parameters.
- Certified Robot Operator (ANB, EN ISO 14732).
- Capable of performing manual welding when required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding specifications, and production instructions.
- Good understanding of welding quality requirements and common welding defects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent weld quality.
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
- Good teamwork, problem-solving, technical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor robotic welding systems safely and efficiently.
- Set up robotic welding machines, fixtures, workpieces, welding equipment, and related tooling.
- Operate and program robotic welding systems such as Panasonic, VALK Welding, G3 Controller, or similar systems.
- Create, modify, test, and optimize robotic welding programs according to production requirements.
- Adjust welding parameters, robot movements, welding sequences, and program settings to achieve consistent weld quality.
- Load and position materials and components accurately into welding fixtures.
- Verify proper alignment, positioning, and clamping of workpieces before welding.
- Monitor robotic welding operations and identify abnormalities, defects, or program errors.
- Perform test welds and make necessary program or parameter adjustments.
- Inspect completed welds and components for quality, dimensional accuracy, and conformity with specifications.
- Identify common welding defects such as porosity, undercut, incomplete fusion, spatter, and improper weld size.
- Make program adjustments to improve welding quality, productivity, cycle times, and material usage.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of robotic welding equipment, fixtures, tools, and related systems.
- Report machine malfunctions, equipment problems, or production issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
- Perform manual welding using appropriate welding processes when required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, welding instructions, specifications, and production documentation.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and machine records as required.
- Keep robotic welding cells, machines, fixtures, tools, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with welders, fabricators, production personnel, technicians, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
- Follow approved welding procedures, quality standards, production requirements, and company policies.
- Perform other robotic welding, programming, and fabrication duties assigned by management.
