Grapecare Limited is seeking qualified and experienced Overhead Crane Operators to work in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, position, and load heavy steel and metal materials in a warehouse or industrial environment. The role requires strong awareness of lifting safety, proper material handling techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in varying warehouse conditions.

OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Male, 25–45 years old.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes.
• Experience working in a steel or metal warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with GIGA, JASS, or similar overhead cranes.
• Knowledge of safe lifting, load handling, crane operation, and warehouse material-handling procedures.
• Ability to safely handle and move heavy steel, metal products, and other industrial materials.
• Forklift experience, particularly with Hyster or CAT, is an advantage.
• Bandsaw machine experience, particularly with Behringer equipment, is a plus.
• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and proper use of lifting equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials and performing hands-on warehouse duties.
• Able to work efficiently in a physically demanding industrial environment.
• Willing to work in varying warehouse conditions, including hot summers and cold winters.
• Strong attention to safety, situational awareness, and responsibility when operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, position, and load heavy materials.
• Inspect cranes, lifting equipment, hooks, slings, chains, and other accessories before each operation.
• Operate overhead cranes such as GIGA, JASS, or similar equipment according to established procedures.
• Carefully lift and transport steel plates, beams, pipes, metal products, and other heavy materials.
• Position and stack materials accurately in designated warehouse or production areas.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas, production lines, and other designated locations.
• Secure loads properly before lifting and ensure materials remain stable during movement.
• Follow approved lifting procedures, load limits, safety rules, and supervisor instructions.
• Use appropriate hand signals and communication methods when coordinating lifting operations with other workers.
• Maintain a safe distance from suspended loads and ensure work areas are clear before moving materials.
• Monitor load balance, crane movement, and surrounding conditions during lifting operations.
• Report damaged, defective, or unsafe crane equipment and lifting accessories immediately.
• Perform routine checks and basic housekeeping around crane operating areas.
• Assist with warehouse material handling and organization as required.
• Operate a forklift, such as Hyster or CAT, when properly authorized and qualified.
• Operate or assist with bandsaw machines, such as Behringer equipment, when required and properly trained.
• Assist in preparing, measuring, cutting, or organizing steel and metal materials when assigned.
• Maintain accurate records related to material movement, loading, unloading, or equipment operation when required.
• Keep warehouse and material storage areas clean, organized, and free from unnecessary hazards.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work efficiently while maintaining safety and care when handling heavy or oversized materials.
• Perform other crane operation, material handling, and warehouse duties assigned by management.
