Al Masaood Automobiles Company LLC is seeking a qualified Vehicle Mechanic (Diesel) to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service diesel-powered vehicles while ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards, safety regulations, and dealership service requirements.
VEHICLE MECHANIC (DIESEL)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Must possess a 2-year Diploma or any relevant Vocational Certificate in Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive dealership environment.
- Ability to read and interpret diagnostic test results to identify mechanical and engine-related issues.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, transmissions, braking systems, and vehicle components.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines, fuel systems, and related vehicle components.
- Read and interpret diagnostic reports, fault codes, and test results to identify mechanical problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing on diesel vehicles.
- Repair or replace defective engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and drivetrain components.
Conduct engine performance testing and troubleshooting procedures. - Use diagnostic scanners, testing equipment, and workshop tools effectively.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and inspection documentation.
- Coordinate with service advisors and workshop supervisors regarding repair requirements and job progress.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain cleanliness within the workshop.
