OWS Automotive is seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician (Tire Man) to perform tire installation, repair, balancing, and related workshop services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicle tires are properly fitted, balanced, inspected, and maintained to provide safe and efficient vehicle operation. The ideal applicant has hands-on experience in tire servicing and a strong commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction.

Tire Man

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in tire replacement, balancing, wheel alignment support, and related workshop activities.
• Vocational training or TESDA qualification in Automotive Servicing or a related field.
• TESDA NC II Certification in Automotive Servicing or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Strong knowledge of tire installation, balancing, tire repair, and wheel maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with tire changing machines, wheel balancers, alignment equipment, and other workshop tools.
• Ability to inspect tires and identify wear patterns and safety concerns.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and proper tire handling procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy tires and perform repetitive manual tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Remove, install, and replace tires on passenger vehicles, SUVs, light commercial vehicles, and other assigned vehicles.
• Perform tire balancing using computerized wheel balancing equipment.
• Assist with wheel alignment procedures and make minor adjustments as directed by senior technicians.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, punctures, uneven tread wear, and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Repair punctured tires using approved repair methods and equipment.
• Rotate tires according to manufacturer recommendations and customer requirements.
• Check and adjust tire pressure to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect wheel rims, valves, and related components for defects or damage.
• Operate tire changing machines, wheel balancers, air compressors, and other workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tire service area and workshop.
• Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Maintain service records and report any unusual findings to workshop supervisors.
• Perform other tire servicing and workshop duties assigned by management.
