ASSISTANT BARTENDER/WAITER

Qualifications:

• Male or Female, 24–35 years old.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Bartender/Waiter.
• At least a High School Graduate.
• Physically fit and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good knowledge of basic bartending, beverage service, and restaurant service procedures.
• Able to communicate well in English.
• Good customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Presentable, courteous, hardworking, and reliable.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure during busy restaurant operations.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required by the restaurant.
• TESDA Certificate and/or Certificate of Employment is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders and service staff with daily restaurant and bar operations.
• Prepare and serve beverages, soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, and other drinks according to established procedures.
• Assist with basic preparation of cocktails and other beverages under the direction of the bartender.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate orders to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally to guests.
• Assist in setting, clearing, and resetting tables before, during, and after service.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide menu information and answer basic questions regarding food and beverage selections.
• Monitor customer needs and coordinate with senior waiters, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
• Check tables regularly and replenish water, utensils, napkins, and other service items as needed.
• Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the bar, dining area, tables, service stations, and equipment.
• Wash and organize glasses, utensils, and other service equipment as assigned.
• Ensure beverages and service items are properly stocked and available during operations.
• Follow proper food and beverage handling, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle customer requests and concerns courteously and refer complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Assist with inventory checks and inform supervisors when beverage or service supplies are running low.
• Support the team during busy service periods to maintain fast and efficient customer service.
• Follow instructions from the Restaurant Manager, Bar Supervisor, Head Waiter, or other authorized personnel.
• Perform other restaurant, bar, and service-related duties assigned by management.
