SUPERVISOR (BAKERY)

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in bakery operations or a supervisory role.

Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management, Culinary Arts, or related fields.

Experience supervising bakery staff and managing production activities.

Strong knowledge of bakery operations, food safety standards, and quality control procedures.

Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent English communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily bakery operations, production schedules, and workflow to ensure smooth operations.

Lead and monitor bakery staff, assign tasks, and provide training and guidance when needed.

Ensure baked goods meet quality, taste, presentation, and production standards.

Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate ingredient requirements.

Conduct quality control inspections and address production issues promptly.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bakery kitchen environment.

Monitor production targets and support achievement of operational goals.

Assist in improving recipes, processes, and overall bakery performance.
