Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Must be at least a High School Graduate.
• Must have NC II in Dress Making.
• With relevant experience in sewing, dressmaking, garment production, or a similar field.
• Willing to undergo Japanese Language Training.
• Willing to work in Japan and adapt to Japanese workplace practices.
• Willing to attend the required trade test.
• Willing to attend a face-to-face employer interview.
• Must be hardworking, responsible, and willing to work under pressure.
  Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive sewing and garment production tasks.
• Able to follow instructions, production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Willing to learn new sewing techniques, production methods, and workplace procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sewing and garment production tasks according to approved patterns, designs, and specifications.
• Operate industrial and other sewing machines safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow sewing patterns, measurements, instructions, and production specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, stitch, and finish fabric materials accurately.
• Sew different garment components according to required construction methods.
• Perform straight stitching, hemming, seams, attaching components, and other sewing operations as required.
• Inspect fabric, garment pieces, and finished products for defects and irregularities.
• Ensure proper stitching, measurements, alignment, finishing, and overall quality of garments.
• Make necessary adjustments or corrections to sewing work to meet quality standards.
• Maintain consistent production quality while meeting required production schedules.
• Handle fabrics, threads, needles, sewing tools, and other garment materials properly.
• Keep sewing machines, tools, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
• Perform basic checks of sewing machines and report equipment problems to the supervisor.
• Minimize material waste through accurate cutting, sewing, and proper handling of fabrics.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper operating practices when using sewing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the production area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other production workers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Follow production instructions and quality control procedures at all times.
• Be willing to learn and adapt to Japanese workplace procedures and production standards.
• Perform other sewing and garment production duties assigned by management.
